Nazm

Mujy Aisa Lutf Ataa Kya

Jo Na Hijr Tha
Na Wisal Tha

Mere Mosmon K
Mizaj-Daan

Tujhe Kitna Mera Khyal Tha

Kabhi Khoon-E-Dil Se Likha To Tha

Tere Saal-E-Hijar Ka Saaniha

Wo Adhuri Kitab Kho Gaee

Wo Najane Konsa Saal Tha

Kisi Or Chehre Ko Dekh K

Teri Shakl Zehan Mein Aa Gaee

Tera Naam Le K Mile Usey

Mere Hafize Ka Ye Haal Tha

Kabhi Mosamon K Azaab Mein

Kabhi Doriyon K Dayar Mein

Wahan Maine Umer Guzaar Di

Jahan Saans Lena Muhaal thaa..,..

Beyond logic

There are two mysteries of this universe since man is known to live on earth. One is logic and other is something beyond logic, that is faith. Einstein, a famous physicist once said that for humans the only limit was their imagination. That's true. Everything that can be thought can be physically manifested in real world. When I use my imagination I can imagine time going back or forward. I can imagine  matter or man is changing in liquid or gas or dying people coming back in this world, and what not. I can even imagine a creator or no creator. But from this point of creator or no creator I can't imagine anything more. Its the limit of imagination, logic and human who is using his intelligence, for example myself in this case. So from here onwards starts something beyond logic. And that is faith. People of Pakistan have unfortunately lost their faith and vision because of multiple factors. At this very point of time in history I cant imagine Pakistan to revitalize her in at least fifty coming years. My advice to people of Pakistan is to move towards self correction. There is no other way which can save us, because its the rule of God, and the rule of God never changes

Dilemma of professionals

I am myself an eye specialist. I have attained this position through a series of tough examinations and hard work which was so precisely focused on my target that I left only very little chance to miss. And ultimately I attained it.
I hope same happens with all other people who attain highest professional degrees in any field. Till this time, its it fine, but for most of us the dilemma starts right from this point till we reach at age where we cannot reverse anything.
What’s the dilemma? It’s our tunnel vision, the boundaries of which are marked by our profession, already set rules and our personal intellect. Most of us attain our degrees because of vision of our parents or ourselves which is based on earning good wealth in future lives. Very rarely some professionals can escape from this trap which acts like a silent killer.
In all this process we forget that if someone is a doctor, still he can read books on engineering. If some is a banker, he can still read literature. In the present circumstances of Pakistan I feel compelled to write this article. It’s the time to accept that our education and professionalism has made us weak personalities. We have logic but not vision. We are far away from self awareness, the khudi, which is the basis of  Iqbal’s message. So we are destined to be exploited both by internal and external forces.
As a result what is happening is quite not surprising. We are dying by a process of apoptosis (pre-programmed death), both individually and as a nation. It is time to see beyond what we think we can’t see. Its time to re-gain the blind faith of eagle of Iqbal who knows only the tops and who’s vision is not distracted by small disputes and personality clashes at any levels. Its time for educated people to step in and give vision to leaders who are very shortsighted.
